  In the area of commercial transactions, including acquisitions and commercial leasing, Sam Baronian enjoys years of experience. With localities scrambling for revenue, he's also helped clients save significant money by successfully challenging overly aggressive real estate tax assessments.

Samuel Baronian, Jr. has been a life-long resident of Richmond, Virginia. In 1979, he graduated from the E. Claiborne Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Thereafter, he received his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1982 and his LLM degree in taxation from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary.

Mr. Baronian first practiced in Richmond with the firm of Smith, Moncure, Blank, Isaacs & Hunton. He later practiced with and became a principal in the law firm of Coates & Davenport before founding his present firm.
Mr. Baronian has a broad based civil practice including extensive litigation experience in commercial, U.C.C., construction, insurance and personal injury cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. In addition, he handles real estate matters including commercial lease negotiating and drafting for landlords and tenants as well as real estate tax assessment challenges. He also provides representation to businesses of all sizes regarding matters of formation, structure, contractual and other disputes. He regularly provides advice in matters of estate planning and administration.
